Heather Ledgerwood

Heather Ledgerwood is a dual license attorney for Wade Law Office in both California and Washington states.  She spends half her time in the Puget Sound Area of Washington and half her time in the Bay Area of California.

Ms. Ledgerwood has worked extensively in matters involving probate and trust administration, estate, gift, and GST tax issues for both Federal and Washington, creditor’s claims, and multi-generational estate plans. Ms. Ledgerwood advises executors and trustees with regard to finding heirs, property transfers, property tax reassessments, estate tax filing requirements, post-mortem estate and tax planning, stale trust funding, Heggstad petitions, ancillary administrations, and associated fiduciary duties and responsibilities. She prepares Federal and Washington estate and gift tax filings, including but not limited to portability returns.

Ms. Ledgerwood is a member of the following:

She earned her J.D. and LL.M. degree in taxation from Golden Gate School of Law in San Francisco, CA.
